About Me

For more than two decades, Kathleen Morrison, SLP, has served Shirley Ryan ±©×ߺÚÁÏ in a variety of roles across the continuum of care. Currently, she oversees operations at Shirley Ryan ±©×ߺÚÁÏ¡¯s five day rehabilitation (DayRehab?) clinics, Pain Management Center and vocational rehabilitation department.

She began her career as a speech-language pathologist in both the inpatient and DayRehab settings, later advancing to serve as the clinical manager for the organization¡¯s Homewood DayRehab Center. In 2020, she was promoted to serve as the administrative director for Shirley Ryan ±©×ߺÚÁÏ¡¯s alliance with UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial. During her tenure, she was instrumental in helping the inpatient rehabilitation team transition documentation to a new electronic medical record (EMR) system. She also played a direct role in increasing patient admissions and improving outcomes.

Kathleen earned a master¡¯s degree in speech-language pathology from Eastern Illinois University.
